Meet Morgan Malino

Morgan Malino is a corporate and intellectual property attorney.  In investment transactions he has represented both investors (buy-side) and companies (sell-side). 

He has been working with startup companies since the dot-com boom over 20 years ago when he was practicing law in Silicon Valley, both in law firms and as in-house counsel.  While in California, was General Counsel to Unity Semiconductor, which was purchased by Rambus for $35 Million in 2010.  

He has been in the Charleston area and working both in law firms and as in-house counsel since 2010.  He was General Counsel to PureCars, which was purchased by Raycom Media for $125 Million in 2015.  

He has been an investor in the Charleston chapter of Venture South, one of the largest angel investment groups in the United States. He taught the Patent Law class for upper-level law students at the Charleston School of Law as an adjunct professor.
